Bhote Kosi is a popular river for rafting which offers a rugged landscape, great and terrific river trips. The Bhote Koshi originates in the Tibetan plateau from where it flows down steep gorges to Nepal in the south. Rafting in Bhote Koshi can be rather challenging and exciting. There is not much to look at the surroundings once you are on the river, but on the way it’s an excellent opportunity to stop at Dhulikhel to admire the stunning beauty of the Lesser Himalayas. The main put in point for Bhote Koshi is 4 hours drive from Kathmandu. The river rafting is usually done for two days covering 25 km. Bhote Koshi is also regarded as one of the best short white water rafting in the world. It is one of the most challenging rivers rafted in Nepal, with continuous rapid action. The river is very challenging and I usually recommend for those who has some previous rafting experience. This rafting trip is for those who want a short but intense and extreme rafting trip.
