Koshi Tappu Wildlife Safari
The Koshi Tappu wildlife Reserve located in the eastern region Nepal and it covers an area of 175 squares Km, from Kathmandu, the Reserve is about a 450km drive along the Mahendra Highway. It lies in the flood plains of the Sapta Koshi and is for the most part, enclosed with 8 meter high embankments of the Koshi Barrage, which has been designed to minimize the destructive annual floods. It is a beautiful and amazing environment and is home of several rare wildlife and birds including varieties of reptiles. Every year, several migratory species of birds recorded such as the Sarus, Crane from Siberia. Koshi Tappu is a home to several wildlife, birds, and reptiles and for other living creatures. Wildlife Safari in Koshi Tappu provides the amazing views of the eastern Reserve area.
Day01: Arrival in the resort and briefing about the Program. After a rest and lunch, Bird watching/Elephant ride-Safari. Evening cultural program and dinner.
Day02: Breakfast. Full day sightseeing by boat and four wheels drive to capture the views of waders, waterfowls, birds, wild water buffalo and Genetic Dolphin and visiting to Pink Tower. Evening served with cultural program and dinner.
Day03: After Breakfast, Village walks and bird watching around the camp. After lunch departure from the resort.
