The total area observed by Kathmandu Valley is 218 sq miles. During this territory 7 sites were marked as a UNESCO world heritage site. The valley comprises three historical cities with several villages surrounded by verdant hills renowned for the magnificent view of the Himalayas. The aboriginal people of Kathmandu are the Newars. Now a days Kathmandu, is a melting pot of different culture practiced by its over hundred ethnic groups.
Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu
Our company representative will assist you at airport. After the formal meeting, you will drive to Hotel center of Kathmandu. The very first day we will try to explore a short walk around the city and dinner together at our Restaurant and overnight at hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing
Breakfast will be served in your Hotel. You will meet your guide and together you will go for Kathmandu sightseeing. An easy, relaxing day with a comfortable ride with a local guide will uncover totally different perspective of Kathmandu. Visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, Shyambhunath, Boudhanath and Pashupatinath.
Day03: Patan & Bhaktapur Sightseeing
Breakfast will be served in your Hotel then we drive towards the next destination called Patan and Bhaktapur. Patan is the Buddhist dominant city believed to be the earliest settlement in Kathmandu valley. Patan is also known as Lalitpur, the city of fine art. After lunch, we will drive to Bhaktapur and drive direct to Nagrkot, where we are going to stay in a local home. Bhaktapur is known as ‘The Living Museum’ as it still retains its medieval fragrance. After reaching to Nagarkot we will be welcomed and special cultural program will be organized by the villagers and dine together with Local family in the evening.
Day 04: Changunaryan- Nagarkot Hiking (overnight in community Homestay)
Early in the morning you need to wake up early to see sunrise from Nagarkot view tower. From this height we will able to see a mesmerizing view of Himalayan range with our open eyes. Back after 30 mins and home, After breakfast with the family, we move towards the north to Changunarayan. Changunarayan is over 1,600 years old pagoda style temple sitting on a hillock with Himalayan view towards north. An easy, scenic hike along the ridge for about 4 hrs will take us to our community Homestay in Nagarkot. Nagarkot is a hill station overlooking Himalayan peaks and lush valleys on the other side.
Day 05: Around Nagarkot
After having breakfast together with family, we will walk through Tamang Village, and around Jungle PeriPhery. After lunch we will drive to Kathmandu.
