Manaslu trekking is also known as off the beaten trail in Himalayan Kingdom Nepal. Manaslu trek offers a unique opportunity to experience virgin part of the Himalaya. It was opened for commercial treks since 1991 and in recent days this trek many allow limited trekkers in limited number each year. Manaslu trek begin all the way from Arughat and continue to Larkya Pass and cuts behind the Manaslu massif, offering some of the finest trekking trails in the Himalayan Kingdom.

On our journey begin from Gorkha by crossing the Laryka Pass with eye catching Manaslu massif offering as a best trekking trails in the Himalayan Kingdom. Around Manasalu we trek up the wild Budhii Gandaki River through rough gorges slicing between Himchuli (7890m) and Ganesh (7429m).

This Manaslu Trek exists with its amazing and mesmerizing view of the glorious Mountain, fascinating culture and has most of the amazing Himalayan high altitude pass called Larkya. All the way of Manaslu Trail is in the region known as Nupri, an area of still Tibetan influence with trade route between the regions still popular. This trek will observe in the land, where still Buddhist prayer flags and chortens are abundant. Tented Manaslu camping treks make you a real adventure dream of your entire life with full of experience in virgin spot.

Amazing landscapes, different kind of wildlife, culture, rare herbs and Shrubs, adventurous trail and tented camp will make your trek full of joy. Different kind of herbs and grass can be found on its way. During stay overnight somehow wild animal can be visible near, so stay safe with guide recommendation.

Detailed Itinerary

  • Day 1 : Arrival in Kathmandu
    After landing in International Airport our representative will greet you and took to your booked hotel. Relaxing for few hours our Local guide will take you for short walk around Old Town and Kathmandu Durbar Square. At evening you will be invited for Welcome Dinner at our own Restaurant. Overnight Sleep at hotel.
  • Day 2 : Kathmandu Sightseeing
    After having breakfast at Hotel start to visit Kathmandu valley, this day you will be taken to Swayambhunath(monkey temple), and Boudhanath with our local guide. Afternoon meeting with trekking guide, check the trekking gears. Overnight sleep at Hotel.
  • Day 3 : Kathmandu To Arughat (570m)
    Early in the morning having Tea or Coffee you will drive for Dhading Besi and continue to Arughat. Overnight stay at Arughat.
  • Day 4 : Arughat To Soti Khola (730m)
    This trail continue by flowing Budhi Gandaki river up and down till Soti-Khola. Most of this step is easy walking along a flat road while scenery of landscapes, mesmerizing view of mountain, waterfalls and greenery as well as you pass through several villages with mixed communities. After walking 5-6 hrs you will rest this night. Overnight rest at Soti Khola.
  • Day 5 : Soti Khola to Machha Khola (930m)
    You will leave Soti Khola soon your route goes into a rougher with ups and down with several rocky parts. Your walk goes on by viewing two valley divided by Budhi Gandaki which is very nice to see. Some parts of the trail seems full of obstacle so need more attention. Continuous trek for 5-6 hrs finally you will reach at Machha Khola (Fish Khola). You are free for fishing in this river and hope to get few fishes for dinner. Overnight stay at Machha Khola.
  • Day 6 : Machha Khola To Jagat (1350m)
    Trek will goes continue after refreshing up early in the morning with up and sown the valley through Hot Spring (Tatopani). At Tatopani you will stop for hot water bath for an hour. Trek continuous until you reach Dovan through Suspension Bridge and Forest. Dovan s small village with a nice people and warm hospitality of tea-houses. Short rest at Dovan trek goes on finally you will be at Jagat valley. Jagat a clean Gurung vilage with slated-paved streets and stop over here. Where we have to register our trekking permit after all it's a Manaslu Conservation Area Project (MCAP) office. Stay overnight at Jagat.
  • Day 7 : Jagat To Deng (1860m)
    Your trek goes on until you reach Deng for your next sleep. The trail ascending to a terraced hill of Salleri a pleasant village. Mesmerizing view of Mountain, several village, slate paved street is another attraction of this trek. Around 2hrs from Jagat you reach Sridibas, a village with nice stone and slate roofs. During this way yo will pass Ghote Khola, Philim and finally cross the Budhi Gandaki. In each and every turn you will encounter Himalaya. walk of 5-6 hrs you will settle this night at Deng.
  • Day 8 : Deng – Namrung (2540m)
    This day you trek uphill route to Rana. During the way of Rana Hill Gompa of Shringi carved of motifs on mani walls will definitely pleased you. Literally you entered in dense forest with bird-life and wildlife. On the way there a waterfall will welcomed to you in Namrung. Overnight after 6 hrs trek rest at Numrung.
  • Day 9 : Namrung To Lho (3525m)
    You will start trek early in the morning, through the Tibetan influence area and we will marked with Tibetan flags and cortons. Small stone house, fields gorgeous view of mountain will pleased you. After crossing village called Lihi we continue for Sho village. This is also one of the best spot to see and feel diffrerent aspect of Tibetan religion as well as dramatic and fabulous view of Manaslu, Manaslu North, Himalchuli, Saula Himal and Dwijen Himal and finally you will be at Lho. Overnight stay at Lho after continuous walk of 6-7 hrs.
  • Day 10 : Lho To Samagaon (3390m)
    The trek resumes with a steep descent and a crossing of yet another rock-strewn torrent, the Thusang Khola. Manaslu and Himal Chuli dominate the entire landscape. Further on, across the glacier-fed Numla Khola the valley drops away to a moraine while we follow the ancient trans-Himalayan trail now just a very few kilometers from Tibet. You will arrive in Samagaon, one of the region’s classic lama settlements with monastery and mani walls and all things totally Tibetan. (4-5 hrs)
  • Day 11 : Explore in Samagaon
    You will have a complete rest day in Sama Gaun to explore the village and Gumbas (Monasteries) This is an extra day in case anyone is having trouble with acclimatizing...A great excursion is a hike towards Manalsu Base Camp where we'll have stunning views of the lake, glacier and valley. Another one hike up to Pung Gyen Gompa, explore around unique natural beauty.
  • Day 12 : Trek from Samagaon To Samdu (3850m)
    Crossing yak pastures and gradually climbs the valley enjoying incredible views of the mountains especially Manaslu, past the long mani wall-sand Chorten at Kermo Kharka then descend to the Budi Gandaki and old herfing settlement of samdo inhabitants are Tibetan, and were ceded the land by the king of Jumala over 500 years ago. Even this place is known as trading point of Chinad and India long time ago. Walk around village provides full exploration of Tibetan lifestyle and natural beauty. Overnight stay at Samdu after trek of 4-5 hrs.
  • Day 13 : Samdu To Dharmasala(4390m)
    This trail continuous to the old trade route towards Tibet, cross a bridge and climb through the trade markets of Larkya Bazzar. From the high pass of Larkya La, mesmerizing view and surrounded breathtaking mountains scenery and blue sheep territory, grazing nearby on the barren hill-sides are another attraction. Overnight at Larkya La pass after walk of 5-6 hrs.
  • Day 14 : Larkya La To Bhimphedi (4460m / 4hrs)
    After having breakfast early in the morning, trek goes on through North side of Larkya Glaciers, where you can view the amazing Cho Danda and Larkya Peak. Trek goes on the top of the Larkya La (5160 m), view of panoramic mountains, Himlung Himal (7126 m), Cheo Himal (6820 m), Gyagi Kung, Kang Kuru (6981 m) and the Annapurna II (7937 m) equally stunning from both side. The descent is steep, through moraines, towards Bhimphedi. Finally this day you will stop at Bhimphedi. Overnight at Bhimphedi after 5 hrs trek.
  • Day 15 : Bhimphedi To Tijle (2300m)
    This day also trek goes on along the big trees and Rhododendron Forest, through the rocky river-bed and sliding hill-sides to several small green villages. Continuous trek 6-7 hrs with very scenic day finally you will be at Tijle. Tijle, village inhabitants of mix Manangis (Tibetan) and Chettris, so have a unique architecture and culture, diverse religion. Overnight stay at Tijle after 6-7 hrs.
  • Day 16 : Tijle To Taal (1680m )
    After passing hard and rocky trail, this day is an easy trekking day following the Dudh Khola bamboo forests and down to Dharapani, an atmospheric Tibetan Village with prayer flags fluttering at the Gompa in Thongje on the old Annapurna Trail. It's an Trail south on the main Annapurna Circuit. During the way you can see wide plain and waterfall, scenic lake, the last village of Lower Manang region. Overnight stay at Taal after walk of 6 hrs.
  • Day 17 : Trek from Taal to Bahundanda (1060m)
    Early in the morning after tea, continue to treks downwards to Bahundanda. Beautiful landscapes, mesmerizing view of Himalaya can be observed during our trek. Overnight stay at Bahundanda after 7 hrs walk downward.
  • Day 18 : Bahundanda To BesiSahar(840m)
    Trek continuous from Bahundanda to Besi Sahar downwards. Collecting wonderful memory and final trek day. Downwards walk of 6 hrs you will be at Besisahar. Overnight at Hotel, BeshiSahar.
  • Day 19 : Besisahar To Kathmandu
    After breakfast and few hour rest you will drive to Kathmandu, which will takes 4-5 hrs to reach. Rest and overnight stay at Kathmandu, Hotel.
  • Day 20 : Free/ Last Day
    This day is your free day. If you wish to go for tour, Our guide will help you. You are free to buy gifts and souvenir for your friends and relatives. Overnight Farewell Dinner will organized and last Sleep at the Himalayan Kingdom, Nepal.
  • Day 21 : Departure for your Next Destination
    Our representative you will drop you at International airport for your next flight.
