Tamang Heritage Trek
Tamangs are one of the largest ethnic groups of Nepal with a history going as far as 30,000 BC if some scholars are to be believed. They are rich in social-culture, but due to being marginalized have not been able to reach a better standard of living. Most of the Tamang population lives in Central and Eastern parts of Nepal and parts of India and Bhutan.
Tamang Heritage Trail is combined with Langtang region. The trek starts 120 drives to the north of Kathmandu through rear combination of natural beauty and original Tamang culture. The area of Tamang Heritage is untouched by roads.
