The Royal Trek

The Royal Trek is one of the short trek follows a shrub like path along the foothills of Annapurna, north of the Pokhara valley. The Royal Trek offers you splendid a mountain views of Annapurna South, Himchuli, Lamjung Himal, Manaslu, Fish Tail and Annapurna II III IV. In early of 80′s Prince Charles of Wales and his 90 person had explored this trail and marked as a Royal Trek. Travelling through the villages set among the cultivated fields, villages with the mixture of peoples and cultures and diverse nature is quite an unforgettable experience. This four day┬átrek commences from Pokhara, the valley of lakes offering panoramic views of the Annapurna massif as also of the Manaslu Himal. This is the best trek for those who want to experience village life and striking mountain views in a relatively short period of time.
Basically The Royal trek is recommended for those who have boundaries of time and hard to trek for long and high altitude. This trek also offers diverse religion and cultural inhabitant of several villages, and the beauty of nature. Great shot of Photography can be possible because of the unique and traditional lifestyle of tribes whose ancient religion and traditions are still untouched. Royal Trek starts from Bijayapur Khola, Pokhara.

 

Itinerary Overview

  • Day 1 : Arrival in Kathmandu - (1360m)
  • Day 2 : Kathmandu to Pokhara - (827m) 7 hrs
  • Day 3 : Trek to Kalikasthan - (1370m) 5 hrs
  • Day 4 : Trek to Syaklung - (1760m) 6 hrs
  • Day 5 : Trek to Chisopani - (1550m) 6 hrs
  • Day 6 : Trek to Begnas Lake
  • Day 7 : Drive back to Kathmandu
  • Day 8 : Departure to your destination

Detailed Itinerary

  • Day 1 : Arrival in Kathmandu - (1360m)
    You will be warm welcomed at airport by Seto Himal Excursion representative and then you will transfer to HOTEL. Our staff will give brief explanation about the program. This day you can stay within the HOTEL or enjoy night at Thamel, Kingsway especially famous for clubs and bars.
  • Day 2 : Kathmandu to Pokhara - (827m) 7 hrs
    After breakfast, we will leave HOTEL at morning time with scenic view along the road to Pokhara via Prithivi highway. It might take approximately 6 hrs to reach Pokhara. We will visit almost all the beautiful places in Pokhara like Davis fall (if we reached in the early), Phewa Lake etc and overnight at hotel inclusive of full board meals.
  • Day 3 : Trek to Kalikasthan - (1370m) 5 hrs
    After your breakfast we take a drive to Bijayapur river and start our trek. We follow the trails through the paddy fields by crossing the small river. After crossed the river the trek begins to descend to reach Kalikasthan. Then we take some rest after arrived Kalikasthan and we explore the surroundings areas. Overnight at Lodge with full board of meal.
  • Day 4 : Trek to Syaklung - (1760m) 6 hrs
    After breakfast, we move a heat through the villages. We have to follow the trail along the ridge of the mountain which offers massive views of Lamjung Himal and Annapurna. While on the trail you can explore the local life, villages and the beautiful rhododendron forests. And overnight at Syaklung in Lodge with full board of meals.
  • Day 5 : Trek to Chisopani - (1550m) 6 hrs
    We start our trek early in the morning through the ethnic Gurung community village which provide an opportunity to explore the local lifestyle. We walk ahead with the bio diversity of that area including rhododendron and pine trees. After walk a 400m descend and 600m ascend, we arrive Chisapani, from where we can see the views of Himalaya such as Dhaulagiri and Annapurna. And overnight at Lodge with full board of meal.
  • Day 6 : Trek to Begnas Lake
    Today is the last day of the trekking. After breakfast, we start trek to the downhill and reached Rupa Lake . Then we follow the trails with the scenery of the nature. And this day we will stay at Begnas Lake for boating and explore the natural beauty of the Begnas area. Begnas lake is also called a fresh water lake. It is the second largest Lake, after Phewa lake, among the eight lakes in Pokhara Valley.
  • Day 7 : Drive back to Kathmandu
    This day we drive back to the Kathmandu. In the evening, we will invite you for the fare well dinner and share the experience gain during the trek. Overnight at Hotel.
  • Day 8 : Departure to your destination
    Today is your departure day, we will drop you to the International airport to catch your flight back to your home and pray for your Safe journey.
