Detailed Itinerary

  • Day 1 : Arrival at Paro
    Arrive at Paro airport, our representative will greet you, You will transfer to Hotel. Day time Visit Ta Dzong, one of the finest natural Museum in South Asia. Visit Rinpung Dzong which is in the same location as Ta Dzong- built in 1645 to defend the valley against Tibetan invaders. In the evening, walking around the city. Overnight at Paro.
  • Day 2 : Sightseeing around Paro
    Hike (1.5 hrs) to the spectacular view of the Taktshang Monastery (Tiger's Nest), perched on a rocky edge over a 900 m. Experience unforgettable views of Mt. Jhomolhari, for the local people it is a place of pilgrimage, but for a tourist, a hike up to the viewpoint opposite the monastery can be exhausting, thrilling and mystical. The legend has it that Guru Rimpoche is had flown to the site of a monastery on the back of a tigress from Tibet and meditated in the cave there for three months. Visit the historic ruins of the Drukgyal Dzong, built in 1647. In the way of returning you will visit Monastery Kichu Lhakhang and built in the 7th century by the first King of Tibet, Songtsen Gampo to spread the Buddhist Dharma throughout Bhutan. Overnight at Paro.
  • Day 3 : Paro to Thimpu
    After breakfast you will drive to Thimpu which will take 2 hrs, capital city without having any traffic Lights. On the way to Thimpu scenic views of mesmerizing mountains, Buddhist monasteries will welcomed. En-route stop at Chuzom (confluence) where the Paro river joins the Thimphu river. Nearby Thimphu, visit Simtokha Dzong, the oldest fortress of the Kingdom which now houses the School for Buddhist studies. Then, visit Handicrafts Emporium, Textile and Folk Heritage Museum followed by visit local market. Overnight at Thimphu.
  • Day 4 : Sightseeing around Thimpu
    Whole day tour of Thimphu will be done. Visiting to the National Memorial Chorten, National Library, Folk Heritage Museum, Tashichho Dzong, National Textile Museum, National Institute of Traditional Medicine, School of Traditional Painting of Arts and Crafts, Visit Government-run Handicrafts Emporium and local crafts shop where you are free to Shopping. Overnight at the hotel.
  • Day 5 : Thimpu To Paro
    This day we will drive back to Paro in the afternoon with collecting wonderful memories of nature and culture. In the evening, walking around town and free time to buy souvenirs. Overnight at hotel.
  • Day 6 : Depart
    Representative of our agency will drop you at the Paro airport for your next destination.
