Untouched Land of Himalaya

Thousand Lake Trek

Dagala Thousand Lake trek is a short, moderate hike but it has some long steep climbs, and the highest pass having an elevation of 4300m. In recent days Dagla trek is becoming first priority of foreigners to observe the real beauty of Thimpu. Trekking in Bhutan is one of the least discovered in all of trekking world. It’s only recently that Bhutan travel has opened up to the world and still due to the limited connectivity and stringent government guidelines for most aspiring Bhutan travelers it remains a distant dream. The highlight and main reason for the trek is that it goes to a large number of really beautiful high altitude lakes. These trout filled lakes are a paradise for people who love fishing. Typically trekkers get to see alpine flowers, rhododendron, different species of pheasants and even musk deer.
